Njoy Cabs takes your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy reflects the way that we would like our own information to be treated. Please be aware Njoy may, at any time, review and update our Privacy Policy, so please check this page when you use the Njoy application or site. All personal information held by Njoy will be governed by our most recent policy, updated on this page.

Scope of our Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers Njoy’s use of any personally identifiable information that Njoy collects when you are on Njoy sites, when you use Njoy applications and when you use Njoy’s services.

What do we collect and why?

Njoy collects personally identifiable information when you register as a user on the Njoy website or application, when you use certain Njoy services, and when you enter promotions or competitions. When you register with Njoy, we ask for your name, email address and mobile number, residential and Office Address. We may use this information to keep you updated on our progress or to provide you with promotions to use our service, which you may opt-out of. Once you register with Njoy and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us. We do this to ensure taxi drivers receive genuine and valid taxi booking requests. When you make a taxi booking, Njoy will request your pickup and drop off address locations and these will be stored with your Njoy profile and booking records. We will also log your GPS location when you make a booking (if you approve to provide this information via your computer or mobile device during booking), and also when you are picked up & dropped off (via yours and the drivers application) and will store these with the booking record and your profile. We will also keep a record of your billing information to allow you to make quick taxi payments by simply using Njoy Wallet to charge the taxi fare and fees to your Njoy account. Njoy uses this information to fulfill your taxi booking requests, to validate when taxi trips booked via Njoy have actually taken place, if they were completed correctly, to provide a log of the trips for safety and security, and to match payments against trip information in case of a online payment dispute. In order to fulfilled above mentioned services and security to the user, the following mobile app permission shall be asked to the user when they installed Njoy Cabs Mobile App in their mobile phone;

(1) Allow Njoy Cabs to use your location: Precise and Approximate location is used for both services and Security purpose. From services purpose, The Cab driver can locate the Customer pick up location. For security purpose, the Customer can send their live location whilst travelling in cab to their family members.
(2) Allow Njoy Cabs to Access Photos: The image upload feature is used for services purpose. For Services purpose, the Customer Profile Image upload is used for drivers to identify Customer.
(3) Allow Njoy Cabs to Access Contact List: This feature is used for both services & Security Purpose. For Services purpose, the Customer can used Refer & Earn program to send message to their contact list. For security purpose, the Customer can send their live location whilst travelling in cab to anybody from their contact list.
(4) Allow Njoy Cabs to Send Notification: This feature is used to send messages to inform user about the services e.g. Cab reached at pick up locaton, trip started etc. It is also used to send promotional messsages and new features in the app.

Njoy also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, Njoy cookie information, and the page you requested. Njoy uses this information to ensure that we have optomised our site to perform correctly, to improve ease of use and to gain general information about how our services are being used.

Who do we tell?

Njoy will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. Njoy will only send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when:

  • We have your consent to share the information;
  • We need to share your information in order to provide the product or service you have requested, for example to dispatch a taxi to you
  • We need to send the information to companies that work on behalf of Njoy to provide a product or service to you. (Unless we tell you differently, these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide to them beyond what is necessary to assist us.)
  • We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process
  • We find that your actions on our web sites or mobile application violate Njoy Terms of Service or any of our usage guidelines for specific products or services.

Change of Information

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information provided as part of account registration. If your Protected Information changes, or if you no longer desire our Services, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, or amend information by making the change in our Mobile App Profile Section or by contacting us through our customer support as set out at the end of this document. We will make good faith efforts to make requested changes in our then active databases as soon as reasonably practicable.

If upon modifying or changing the information earlier provided to Us, we find it difficult to permit access to our Services to you due to insufficiency/ inaccuracy of the information, we may, in our sole discretion terminate your access to the Services by providing you a written notice to this effect on your registered email id.

Deletion of Account

If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us through our customer support as set out at the end of this document. Alternatively, you can request to delete your account through our Njoy Cabs Mobile App by following the below process;

(1) Open the Menu section and then click Edit Profile
(2) On the bottom page, click Account Deletion
(3) You will be prompted for Account Deletion request and then confirm the action.

After deletion of account, we will retain your Protected Information and Usage Information (including trip history, and transaction history) as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, conclude any activities related to cancellation of an account, investigate or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity, to enforce our agreements, and for other business reason.


Njoy may set and access Njoy cookies on your computer. Other companies do not have access to Njoy’s cookies.


Your Njoy Account Information is password-protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas Njoy uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions. Njoy strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of personally identifiable information of our customers. We use a variety of physical and electronic security measures including restricting physical access to our offices and firewalls and secure databases to keep personal information secure from misuse, loss or unauthorised use or disclosure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure.

Steps you can take to improve security

You as an individual are responsible for the security of and access to your own computer and mobile device.

It is recommended you apply a PIN number to your mobile device to prevent access to the device if it is lost or stolen.

If you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe, do not save your password in the browser.

Remember to close your browser when you have finished your user session. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information.

If your mobile device or computer is stolen you should also notify Njoy so we may block your user account and allow you to change your password.

Access to Personal Information

You have a right to access most personal information we hold about you and if we deny access in some circumstances we will tell you why. To request access, please contact our customer support as set out at the end of this document.
